CASPER, Wyo. — The City of Mills approved bids by Greiner Ford to replace some of its fleet of law enforcement vehicles. Council approved the bids at its regular meeting Tuesday, September 14.
Mayor Seth Coleman said at the work session before the meeting that Greiner had been the sole bidder.
The new 2022 all-wheel drive Ford Interceptor utility vehicle, costing $40,517.00, will replace the Mills police chief’s current 2007 Ford pickup, which will be repurposed for other law enforcement uses, Coleman told Oil City News.

For $59,800, Mills gets two all-wheel drive Ford Explorer utility vehicles to replace a 2006 Ford pickup and 2007 Ford Explorer, Coleman said.
Coleman said those will go to replace other vehicles currently in use that, at one time, had been in constant use by the department before officers were assigned individual vehicles.
