CASPER, Wyo. — Portions of Interstate 80 between Laramie and Rawlins are under a high-wind warning until 9:00 p.m. Sunday.
Areas between Arlington and Elk Mountain will see sustained 35- to 45-mph winds with gusts up to 65 mph.
Interstate 25 from Chugwater to Wheatland could also experience gusts of 50-55 mph.
“Strong cross winds will be hazardous to light weight and high profile vehicles, including campers and tractor trailers,” said the National Weather Service in Cheyenne.
“There will be a high risk for vehicle blowovers, particularly along north-to-south–oriented roadways,” NWS said.
