CASPER, Wyo. — Peaches Family Restaurant announced on social media Friday that it would be closed through at least Saturday, apparently due to COVID-19 concerns among staff.

“Our collective experience here in the last few weeks leading up to today — and especially today — is worse than any other point in the 20+ months dealing with this virus,” the restaurant posted.

“We will re-open after everyone passes their tests and we can safely operate.”

“PLEASE take all of this seriously,” the post continued. “Stay home, distance, and do everything you can to not spread this thing.”

559 new COVID-19 cases have been confirmed in Natrona County in the last 14 days.

The Wyoming Department of Health provides COVID-19 case, variant, death, testing, hospital and vaccine data online. The department also shares information about how the data can be interpreted. COVID-19 safety recommendations are available from the CDC.
