CASPER, Wyo. — Today is the last day members of the community can submit a tree on their property to be used for the annual David Street Station Community Christmas Tree.

“The winning tree will be selected by the Downtown Development Authority on November 1 and will be on full display starting November 27 at our Tree Lighting Ceremony,” said the DDA. The tree sits in the middle of the seasonal ice skating rink that covers a splash pad used during warmer months.

Submissions can be filled out at this link.

Each year David Street Station chooses a tree that has been nominated from a neighborhood that has outgrown or outlived its useful life in the area.

The tree lighting celebration usually takes place right before the annual downtown Christmas parade after Thanksgiving.
