CASPER, Wyo. — David Street Station will be holding its annual “Community Christmas Tree” lighting event starting at 6 p.m. Saturday, November 27.

“This magical moment will kick-off the Christmas season to bring joy and cheer to you, your family, and friends,” David Street Station announced. “Following the tree lighting will be the Downtown Christmas Parade at 6:45 p.m. with the theme ‘Christmas at The Movies.’ It will be a festive, fun-filled day for the whole family in downtown Casper!”

The 2021 Christmas Parade is being organized by the Casper Area Chamber of Commerce. People can register to enter floats in the parade until Friday, November 12.

“Each float is encouraged to follow the ‘Christmas at the Movies’ theme, celebrating classic holiday films,” the Chamber of Commerce said in a press release.

The chamber is also seeking volunteers and sponsors for the parade. Parade float applications are available online and in person at the Casper Area Chamber of Commerce.

People can contact the chamber at (307) 234-5311 or christmasparade@casperwyoming.org or can visit CasperChristmasparade.com for more information.
