CASPER, Wyo. — The Yellowstone National Park area is expected to be hit with snow starting around 6 p.m. Saturday night through 11 a.m. Sunday,  according to the National Weather Service (NWS).

Total snow accumulations of at least 2 to 4 inches are expected on portions of most roads in Yellowstone, with 6 to 8 inches possible along the south and east entrance roads.

Winds will also gust up to 25 to 35 mph.

“Travel could be difficult with low visibility and accumulating snow on area roads,” the NWS said. “Slow down and use caution while traveling.”
