CASPER, Wyo. — With 2 to 8 inches of snowfall expected to begin around 6:00 p.m. Saturday in northwest Wyoming, Yellowstone National Park announced that most park roads and entrances will close at 7:00 p.m.

With one exception, all roads and the West, South, and East entrances will close due to the weather.

“The exception is the road from the North to Northeast entrances, which will remain open, weather permitting,” YNP said on social media.

6 to 8 inches of snow are possible through Sunday morning along the south and east entrance roads, according to the National Weather Service.
