CASPER, Wyo. — After a balmy weekend, more seasonable temperatures and a few rounds of precipitation are coming to Casper, according to the National Weather Service (NWS) in Riverton.
There is a 30% chance of showers between 11:00 p.m. Sunday night and 8:00 a.m. Monday morning. Cloud cover should disperse as the day progresses and a high of 48 is expected alongside mild winds (gusts up to 20 mph).
Tuesday should be warmer and windier, with an expected high of 56. Winds will pick up to 23-28 mph in the afternoon, with gusts up to 39 mph.
Widespread precipitation is expected to begin across the region Tuesday night and throughout Wednesday, with a 50% chance of precipitation in Casper and a high of 46.
Chances are “favorable” for snow, though accumulations will be minimal. Temperatures will also increase through the day Wednesday, “favoring a shift to rain before tapering off,” the NWS said.
