Motorcyclist dies in Casper collision

UPDATE: Coroner’s Office identifies motorcyclist in deadly crash.

CASPER, Wyo. — Casper Police have released details about a fatal motorcycle crash in Casper on Sunday afternoon.

Casper Police report in a written statement that officers responded to East 3rd Street and Country Club Road shortly after 4:00 p.m. November 7, 2021 for a report of a crash between a vehicle and a motorcycle.

The victim was quickly transported to the hospital, where they were pronounced deceased.

“Multiple officers immediately responded to the scene, where they located the assumed motorcyclist in the roadway,” Casper PD said. “Officers searched the area for the involved vehicle and quickly located a silver minivan in a nearby parking lot with evidence of having been in a recent crash. A short time later, officers made contact with the driver of the silver minivan, who was determined to be the involved driver in the crash.”

Police say alcohol is being investigated as a contributing factor in this crash.

This incident remains under investigation by the Casper Police Department.
