Amanda Disney appointed to Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors

Disney holds certificates in Global Business Travel, Hospitality Revenue Management, and has also completed the Hospitality & Tourism Management course at Florida Atlantic University.

CASPER, Wyo. — The Casper Area Chamber of Commerce has announced the appointment of a new board member, according to a statement sent to media on Friday.

Amanda Disney was appointed as a member of the Board of Directors, effective the day of the announcement.

The Casper Area Chamber of Commerce describes themselves as a “membership-based, not-for-profit organization whose purpose is to ensure the success of its members.”

“We welcome Amanda to the Casper Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors,” said Michael Howe, Board of Directors Chair. “Amanda brings a wealth of business experience, community passion, and a tourism perspective that will strengthen our Board and help us achieve our goal of ensuring the success of our members.”

According to the Chamber, Disney has spent 16 years in the hospitality industry and is currently the Revenue Manager for Timberline Hospitalities, LLC. She reportedly holds certificates in Global Business Travel, Hospitality Revenue Management, and has also completed the Hospitality & Tourism Management course at Florida Atlantic University.

“Amanda is motivated by continued learning and incorporating diverse industry knowledge to her role in order to succeed with the ever-growing economic challenges throughout Wyoming,” the Chamber announcement said Friday. “Amanda believes that working together as businesses, communities, and individuals, we can influence, strengthen, and grow new and exciting opportunities throughout our state. She sits on the Board of Advisors for Powering Up Wyoming, holds a seat on the WEDA Legislative Committee, served as a Board Member for the Laramie Chamber Business Alliance, and is thrilled to join the Central Wyoming Chamber Board.”
