LINK and ASSIST bus schedules released for Thanksgiving weekend

Tokens and passes will not be available for purchase Thursday, November 25 through Saturday, November 27, since Casper Area Transit offices will be closed.

The City of Casper has announced services that will be offered by Casper Area Transit over the coming Thanksgiving Holiday.

Thanksgiving falls on November 25 this year, and services for LINK fixed-route and ASSIST door-to-door, formerly The Bus and CATC, will be closed for the holiday and will have different hours during the following Friday and Saturday.

  • November 25: Thanksgiving Day – No LINK or ASSIST services
  • November 26: LINK and ASSIST will run from 6:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
  • November 27: LINK and ASSIST will run from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. – No Purple or Orange Route service

LINK and ASSIST buses do not run on Sundays. Both buses service Casper, Mills, and Evansville in Natrona County.

City of Casper officials announced that ride requests with ASSIST for Monday, November 29 must be made by Wednesday, November 24 before 3:00 p.m.

Tokens and passes will not be available for purchase Thursday, November 25 through Saturday, November 27 since Casper Area Transit offices will be closed.

Normal office hours will resume on Monday, November 29 at 8:00 a.m.
