CASPER, Wyo — The Historic Bishop Home on East Second Street in Casper is being decked out for the holidays — 1920s style, according to a release from the Cadoma Foundation.
“New displays of board games and toys as well as books show how people past their time in earlier 1900’s without TV, computers, and phones!” the Foundation said.
“The winter furs and early photographs enhance the rooms while continuing the story of life and times in the 1920’s.”
There will be a Holiday Open House on December 30 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., where punch and cookies will be served.
The home is open for tours on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The home will be closed to tours on December 11 for a holiday tea event and December 25 for Christmas.
“Mark your calendar to plan a step back in time for an old-fashioned Christmas at the Historic Bishop Home,” the Foundation said.
Located at 818 East Second Street, the home was built in 1907, and was the first multi-story brick home in Casper.
Parking is available in the rear of the home off Lincoln Street.
