CASPER, Wyo. — The United Way of Natrona County said in a press release Thursday that is is now accepting grant applications from nonprofit organizations serving the Casper area.
Grant funding support is available as part of the 2022 United Way Workplace Campaign. The United Way of Natrona County is accepting applications until January 21.
The United Way of Natrona County said that $37,800 in funding is available thanks in part to support from individual and company matches.
“We have experienced a great many changes over the past two years and with those changes, community need has grown,” United Way of Natrona County Executive Director Anna Wilcox said. “I am not at all surprised that members of the greater Casper Community have found ways to maintain support and continue to give.”
“Decisions surrounding the approval of applications and specific distribution of funds will be facilitated by Natrona County staff with the help of local community members,” the organization said.
The United Way of Natrona County added that it is seeking 3-5 community members to serve on the committee that will determine the distribution of funds.
