United Way of Natrona County offering free income tax assistance with VITA 2022 season kicking off January 25

CASPER, Wyo. — The United Way of Natrona County said in a press release on Monday that it is partnering with Wyoming Free Tax Service to offer free income tax preparation to Natrona County residents starting next Tuesday, January 25.

The free income tax preparation is offered through the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program and is available to residents of Natrona County who earned $65,000 or less in 2021.

“IRS-trained and certified volunteers provide free basic income tax return preparation with electronic filing to qualified individuals beginning Tuesday, January 25 running through Wednesday, April 13,” the United Way of Natrona County said.

The VITA program services will be provided at 851 Werner Court, Suite #100.

Assistance will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. No appointments will be scheduled.
