The Daily Breeze: Back to the grind

Hey there, long time no see!

I know it’s been a couple of days, but who doesn’t need a little vacation every now and then? But now it’s back to business and the news that never stopped. Here is a special edition of the Breeze with some of the best stories from Casper!

Check out what the Breeze blew in for today: See the story about the Wagon Wheel, read about the MLK march that happened yesterday, and check out the story on the new possible skate park! Check out the featured article on the fun events at the Beacon Club this week.

Casper is expecting a high of 43°F today with a mix of clouds and sun. That Breeze is really light for today and coming from the SW at 10 mph to 20 mph. Boy, isn’t that nice!

Wagon Wheel still rolling along!

When was the last time you were at the Wagon Wheel? Despite a pandemic, brushes with selling the business, and even a listing on a website called “Dead Rinks,” the Wagon Wheel roller rink in Mills is still going strong under the third generation of Van Horn ownership. The fun destination is still the top spot for middle schoolers.

Great way to support MLK day!

People gathered at ART 321 in the morning for an MLK Day march that made its way through downtown Casper. There, community leaders spoke about the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and about the need for service they see in the community today.
