David Street Station features Irish dance, drums and pipes, for Saturday’s ‘Afternoon on the Green’

CASPER, Wyo. — David Street Station is inviting Casperites and guests to its Saturday “Afternoon on the Green” St. Patrick’s Day celebration, with Irish dance, pipes and drums, green beer, crafts, corned beef and cabbage, and more.

The event runs from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 19.

Face painting, artisan crafts, green beer, and corned beef and cabbage from The Wooden Derrick Café will be on hand throughout.

From 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m., the Casper Professional Firefighters Pipes & Drums contingent will perform.

From 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. there will be a performance by Richens Timm Irish Dance.

The Casper Windy City Striders are also starting their third annual Run for the Green 5K/10K from the Station at 9:00 a.m. View their Facebook page for registration details.

“Don’t forget to wear your green, and we’ll see you at the place where Casper comes together!” the Station said.
