CASPER, Wyo. — The annual “Cruizin’ With the Oldies” Memorial Day weekend car show will go on outside of the Yellowstone Garage despite the closure of the bar and grill.
“The Annual Memorial Day Weekend Car Show is still going on as usual,” the Yellowstone Garage said via Facebook on Thursday. “Same time, same place.”
The car show will take place from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 28 outside of the Yellowstone Garage, 355 W. Yellowstone Highway in Casper. Cars will range from “custom hot rods to meticulously restored muscle cars.”
“There will be live music with El Loco Fandango, a ZZ Top Tribute Band and some food trucks,” the announcement adds.
There are more car show events scheduled for Memorial Day weekend, with the Oil Capitol Car Club putting on a number of “Cruizin’ With the Oldies” events around the greater Casper area. Friday features some special dealer shows at different dealerships in Casper ahead of the events at the Yellowstone Garage on Saturday.
Sunday’s “Cruizin’ With the Oldies” show will take place at Antelope Park at Arena Street in Bar Nunn. The full schedule of events is available from the Oil Capitol Auto Club.
Further information about the Yellowstone Garage show is available at the car show’s event page on Facebook. Information on registration is available here.
