CASPER, Wyo. — Wyoming Free Fishing Day will happen on Saturday, June 4, giving anglers the chance to fish without a license.
People can fish for free anywhere in the state on Saturday, with the exceptions of the Wind River Reservation and Yellowstone National Park, according to the Wyoming Game and Fish Department.
“All fishing regulations, creel and size limits, gear restrictions and stream closures remain in effect,” Game and Fish said in a news release Tuesday. “Anglers can review the 2022 Fishing Regulations online before heading out and plan their trips with the interactive fishing guide.”
