CASPER, Wyo. — Natrona County law enforcement will be in service beside Texas Roadhouse employees this week, working for tips to benefit Special Olympics Wyoming athletes, according to a release Monday.

The Tip-A-Cop event is set for Tuesday, June 14 and Thursday, June 16 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Texas Roadhouse Restaurant, 210 Miracle St. in Evansville. 100% of the tips will support Special Olympics Wyoming, the release said.

“This is an excellent opportunity for a night out, [to] be served by Natrona County’s finest, and support Special Olympics Wyoming,” the release said.

The event is part of the continual support law enforcement gives to Special Olympics Wyoming, including by joining athletes annually in carrying the Flame of Hope to the Opening Ceremonies of local Special Olympics competitions and State and National Games.

The Wyoming law enforcement community has raised more than $1.5 million since 1987 to support the Special Olympics athletes, the release said.
