Friends of the Natrona County Library hosting ‘Star Trek/Science Fiction’ sale

CASPER, Wyo. — The Friends of the Natrona County Public Library will host a “Star Trek/Science Fiction” sale from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 13 in the Crawford Room at the library, 307 E. 2nd St. in Casper.

“In addition to the Star Trek items, we will also have a large selection of Science Fiction titles available for purchase,” an announcement for the sale said.

Items will be available mainly at prices of 50 cents to $2, with a few items marked higher, the Friends of the Library said.

Some of the items that will be available include:

  • Star Trek Barbie and Ken
  • Star Trek clocks and puzzles
  • Star Trek mystery game
  • Star Trek Collectors plates
  • Autographed photos, some authenticated
  • Star Trek original series paperbacks and hardbacks
  • Star Trek original series fotonovels
  • Star Trek original series cast member fiction
  • ST Next Generation paperbacks, reference, and hardbacks
  • ST Next Generation reference material
  • ST Deep Space 9 paperbacks and hardbacks
  • ST New Frontier hardbacks and paperbacks
  • ST Enterprise hardbacks and paperbacks
  • ST games and trivia
  • ST Signature Series — oversized paperbacks
  • Starfleet Academy
  • Star Trek graphic novels
  • Star Trek DVDs, many different complete series
  • Many, many crossover books (hardback, reference, and paperback)
  • Star Trek cast biographies (hardback and paperback)
  • Star Trek magazines (all series)
  • Star Trek graphic novels

“There is no fee to enter the sale, but reservations are required,” the announcement added. “Only 20 appointments remain for the two-hour blocks.
