CASPER, Wyo. – Patrick McJunkin retired as Captain of Casper Fire-EMS after 25 years this month.

Retirement didn’t last long for McJunkin. On Monday he was one of three people sworn in as deputies by the Natrona County Sheriff’s Office.

“Please join us in welcoming your newest Natrona County Sheriff’s deputies,” said a Facebook Message by the NCSO.

“This morning, Sheriff Harlin swore in Deputy Baylie Till, Deputy Pat McJunkin and Deputy Cameron Huff. They will begin their careers with us assigned to the Natrona County Detention Center. Welcome to the NCSO family!”

The Natrona County Fire District soon offered their congratulations in the comments section.

“Congratulations Deputy Till, Deputy McJunkin and Deputy Huff!”

Casper Firefighters posted on their Facebook:

“Shortest retirement ever for our own Captain Patrick McJunkin! Good luck and thanks for your continued public service!”
