CASPER, Wyo. — The Natrona County Board of Commissioners will hold a pair of public hearings at its bi-weekly meeting today at 5:30 p.m. to discuss a pair of proposed subdivisions.
The proposed Clear Canyon subdivision is located adjacent to the north side of Circle Drive. It is roughly half a mile from where Casper Mountain Road turns into Circle Drive.
The applicant is wanting to divide 50 acres of land into five 10-acre lots. However, the applicant also lists in the request that the minimum lot size would be five acres, meaning they could ultimately add more lots.
With no public water source, the applicant is proposing individual wells or having residents haul water.
The other proposed subdivision, Lodgepole Acres, would be located on the west side of East End Road, adjacent to the northern boundary of the Starwallow No. 7 subdivision.
The applicant for the proposed Lodgepole Acres subdivision is seeking to divide the 17 acres into three lots averaging 5.7 acres in size.
For both proposed subdivisions, the Natrona County Planning Commission’s recommendation is to approve the requests.
