CASPER, Wyo. — While it may not come as a surprise to many Casper residents, strong wind gusts are not expected to leave the forecast in the days to come.
Today, residents can expect southwestward gusts of upwards of 40 mph, along with a high temperature of 43 degrees and a low of 25, the National Weather Service in Riverton reports.
Over the subsequent days, winds will remain strong, with Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday each expected to see gusts of at least 30 mph.
Temperatures will fall slightly, as the high on Monday is expected to be 37 and Tuesday’s high is forecast at 34.
While the days will be windy and chilly, they will also be sunny and dry; the NWS in Riverton’s forecast does not call for any snow in the coming week.
