EVANSVILLE, Wyo. — The Casper Area Metropolitan Planning Organization, the Town of Evansville and the consulting firm CEPI are inviting any interested members of the public to comment on the draft report for the Evansville East Side Sidewalk and Trail Study. The purpose of the study is to connect east-side residential neighborhoods and existing pathways within Evansville and create additional recreational and multi-modal transportation opportunities.
The plan also aims to help create a unique and cohesive identity for the town, MPO supervisor Beth Andress said in a statement.
“The MPO hosts a public comment period near the end of each project so anyone who is interested can read a draft and make comments. All project-related comments are included in the final report so that the utilizing entity, in this case the Town of Evansville, can review the comments and consider them in the decision-making process going forward,” MPO technician Renee Hardy said.
The public comment period will run through Thursday, Feb. 16.
The report is available electronically at casperareampo.gov or in hard copy at both the Natrona County Library in downtown Casper and the MPO office in Casper City Hall, 200 N. David St. Comments can be made via email to casperareampo@casperwy.org.
