CASPER, Wyo. — The seventh annual “Project Homeless Connect Natrona County” event, hosted by the Casper Housing Authority CARES, is set to take place Friday, Jan. 27 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The free day-long event will provide people with hot meals, healthcare, legal advice, job seeking services, clothing, housing assistance, veteran aid and more. PHCNC will be held at the Fraternal Order of Eagles, 306 N. Durbin St. in downtown Casper.
The Housing Authority is seeking donations of the following items:
- Warm adult-size socks
- Deodorant sticks
- Bars of soap
- Washcloths
- Sanitary pads
- Disposable razors
- Brushes/combs
- Fingernail clippers
- Toothbrushes
- Toothpaste
- Sunscreen
- Lotion
- Chapstick
- Shampoo and conditioner
- Sleeping bags
- Blankets
- Backpacks
- Warm hats
- Gloves
- Scarves
- First aid kits
- Small flashlights
- Hand and foot warmers
The deadline to make donations is Wednesday, and the donations can be dropped off at the Casper Housing Authority, 140 East K St.
