CASPER, Wyo. — The Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Wyoming will open its main branch today in Casper in response to the unexpected weather closure of Natrona County School District buildings.
The extra B&G “School’s Out, Club’s In” day offers club activities for kids from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 30, according to an email from the club. Lunch will be provided.
The club is not offering transportation, it said. The Boys & Girls Club Casper building is located at 1701 East K St. and can be reached at 307-235-5694.
Unusually cold weather early Monday caused NCSD’s diesel-run buses to gel, leading to the unexpected closure, according to an email from the district.
