CASPER, Wyo. — The Platte River Trails Trust will introduce its new executive director during its annual meeting on Feb. 15 at the Tate Pumphouse.
According to a release issued on Friday, Patrick Harrington, the Wyoming Office of Outdoor Recreation’s manager, will be the featured speaker.
The trust’s current executive director, Angela Emery, announced last year that she planned to retire after nearly 24 years with the organization.
“Each year, our Annual Meeting is filled with conversation and celebration of the work we completed the year prior,” said the release. “2022 was a milestone for PRTT, marking 40 years of developing the community trail system.
“We also released a new Trail Map, hosted the 30th Annual Riverfest, facilitated Art on the Go, and much more,” it continued.
The Annual Meeting luncheon on Feb. 15 starts at 11:30 a.m. at the Tate Pumphouse. A $25 registration is required and can be reserved at the trust’s website.
