CASPER, Wyo. — The University of Wyoming at Casper is hosting a 5K to help fund a Heroes Scholarship and a Veteran’s Support Fund.
The Heroes 5K Run is scheduled for Saturday, May 27, with check-in at 9 a.m. and a start time of 10 a.m., according to a UW Facebook post.
“We are honored to provide assistance and support to our veterans who have served their country for us,” the post said. “We are holding the Heroes 5K run to raise funds to support our veterans in their journey of higher education.”
The fee is $40 and includes a T-shirt, and people can participate in person, virtually or simply by making a donation.
