CASPER, Wyo. — After years of planning and months of labor, Park Elementary School’s new greenhouse classroom is officially open.

A dedication ceremony took place on Thursday morning, when the entire school body gathered to cheer on as students in Park’s Gardening Club joined Park staff and the Casper Area Chamber of Commerce in cutting a ceremonial garden hose and a red ribbon.

Park Elementary collaborated with the Casper Community Greenhouse Project, Natrona County School District and USDA Farm 2 School for the project.

The greenhouse is the third of its kind among Natrona County schools.
