CASPER, Wyo. — The Casper Fire Department is planning to host a hands-only CPR demonstration and open house on Sunday, April 23.
The public is invited to Fire Station 5, 555 Landmark Drive, across from Wyoming Gun Co., from 9 to 10 a.m. There will be a short demonstration and practice session every 15 minutes starting at 9 a.m. on the benefits of and the how-to of hands-only CPR.
Visitors can expect to learn how to recognize a cardiac emergency and what to do until the fire department arrives, an announcement states.
Between demonstrations, visitors can tour the fire station and Engine 5.
“This is a great opportunity to learn a life-saving skill, and meet one of your station 5 crews,” the announcement states.
