CASPER, Wyo. — The Beacon Club hosted another Saturday with some twang in it, bringing Gillette’s Kellen Smith down to open up for South Dakota’s Tyler Halverson.
Almost every Saturday you can find the dance floor moving at the Beacon to another underappreciated regional powerhouse of an act; it’s almost like we’re spoiled around here with good country music. Honky-tonk has found a home at the Beacon Club, and the newer generation needs a few innovative, energetic souls to lead the way. Tyler Halverson brought his “Western Amerijuana Music” to the stage at the Beacon, and fans young and maybe a little bit less young (we’re not judging; everyone looked GREAT!) danced the night away.
