CASPER, Wyo. — Casper PRIDE has completed its lineup of events to celebrate Pride month. For Casper, the events — which start off with a celebration at ART 321 and end with a parade — will run from Thursday through Sunday, with the theme of “Community” tying it all together.
- Thursday: Pride OUTside kicks off the celebration at ART 321 with music, art, entertainment and food. The free event starts at 7 p.m.
- Friday: Rainbow Collective, followed by Art after Dark, will both take place at ART 321. Rainbow Collective, running from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., is all-ages and invites artists and non-artists alike to “create a mural, origami swans, a quilt and more,” according to organizers. Starting at 8 p.m., Art after Dark is for ages 18 and up, and will also feature a community gathering to create art.
- Saturday: This day will be filled with activities starting early and going late. Starting at 7:30 a.m. is Pride Yoga, at Wyoming Yoga & Wellness. The 5K Casper Pride Run starts at 8 a.m., with activities starting earlier at David Street Station. Registration and more details can be found here. The run is followed by Casper Pride Fest, a family-friendly event featuring vendors, entertainment and food trucks, at David Street Station from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Later, there is not just one, but TWO Casper Pride Shows, first at 5 p.m., then again at 8:30 p.m. Both will be at the Backwards Distilling Company’s Mills location, located at 158 Progress Circle. Click here for the early tickets or here for the later show. Also on Saturday is Family Fun Night at Old Town Family Fun, located at 301 West E Street. The night features laser tag, mini golf, arcade games and karaoke, and is sponsored by Casper PFLAG.
- Sunday: The celebration wraps up on Sunday with the Casper Pride March Activities, starting at 9:30 a.m. at ART 321 for donuts and sign-making. Speeches start at 11 a.m., and the march around downtown Casper starts at 11:30 a.m. The parade is followed by a gathering at the Gaslight Social for food, drinks and games.
