CASPER, Wyo. — The Wyoming Symphony Orchestra’s 74th concert season is set to kick off, starting this week with “Prelude” — a fundraising event featuring music, food and cocktails — on Thursday, Sept. 21 from 6 to 8:30 p.m.
According to a release from the WSO, the historic midcentury “M” Building will be home to the Prelude event, with cocktails starting on the patio area, followed by a live auction and live music. Food will be provided by the Silver Fox Steakhouse.
Music will be provided by vocalist Devin DeSantis, who performed with the WSO during the 2019 and 2021 Holiday Concerts.
“DeSantis will be performing fun and engaging works from an array of artists spanning the catchy pop songs of Justin Timberlake to the nostalgic and notable sounds of The Beatles,” the release said.
“Pursue exclusive auction items that speak to your passions, all while actively contributing to the flourishing arts scene in our region,” they said.
Tickets are priced at $150 each, or a discounted rate of $125 when purchased with Season or Pick 3 tickets, according to the release. Tickets can be purchased at the WSO website or at its office at 225 S. David St., Suite 1 in downtown Casper. Tickets can also be purchased by phone at 307-266-1478.
The M Building is located at 234 E. 1st St.
