CASPER, Wyo. — Fans of musical theater are in luck, as illustrious artist Franc D’Ambrosio is bringing his show “Back to Broadway” to the First United Methodist Church on Saturday.
The show is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. and will run until roughly 9 p.m. Ticket prices range from $5 to $13. The church is located at 302 E. 2nd St.
D’Ambrosio will perform an eclectic assortment of Broadway tunes, from old classics to contemporary hits and everything in between.
Among the showtunes he has planned are a tribute to muscial theater legend Stephen Sondheim and a selection of works from the celebrated 2015 musical “Hamilton.”
Not all of the songs D’Ambrosio will perform are from the realm of theater, though. He will also share some of his favorite Italian melodies, including the Sicilian love song “Speak Softly Love,” which he performed in both the film and original motion picture soundtrack for “The Godfather: Part III.”
