CASPER, Wyo. — The annual Championships of Champions Indian Relay Races concluded at the Central Wyoming Fairgrounds on Sunday, with hundreds filling the stands to see one of the highest levels of horse racing in the Midwest.

The event’s third day kicked off with a live auction, followed by youth races and the adult championship round.

Riders from across the country took part in the competition, with teams traveling from Arizona, Idaho, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Washington, Wyoming and Canada.
