CASPER, Wyo. — A trailer filled with scrap metal detached from a semi after the tie downs failed on West Yellowstone Highway in Mills late Monday morning, according to police officials.

The trailer, apparently modified from an old tank, sat perpendicular and blocked two lanes of traffic for about half an hour around 11:05 a.m., according to Mills Police Department Cpl. Kate Acord.

There were no injuries related to the incident, Acord said, but the semi driver was cited for an unsecured load.
