CASPER, Wyo. — Bernard Ambrosino, a towering figure in Natrona County’s culinary scene and the owner of popular local restaurant Silver Fox Steakhouse, has passed away.
When Ambrosino moved to Casper from Florida, he first made his mark on the local restaurant industry by helming the Circle D barbecue restaurant before eventually taking over at Silver Fox. Under his leadership, the restaurant thrived.
Over the years, Ambrosino developed a reputation for treating employees and patrons alike as if they were members of his own family.
“His memory lives on through every one of us, those who work at the restaurant, have become regulars over the years or have had the privilege of visiting our town and his incredible cuisine even one time,” Silver Fox Steakhouse stated in a Facebook post announcing his passing.
The restaurant went on to say in the post that it will remain open under normal business hours today as a way of honoring his memory.
