CASPER, Wyo. — Firefighters extinguished a fire at the Super 8 motel in Evansville on Friday afternoon.
Evansville Police Chief Mike Thompson confirmed on the scene that there were no injures or medical transports. Thompson said the call came in at 12:22 p.m. Friday, June 14. The fire prompted an evacuation of both levels of the motel.
Thompson said the fire was located in the attic above the pool area and was extinguished. The cause is under investigation.
Evansville fire and police units, Casper Fire-EMS, the Natrona County Fire District and Banner Wyoming Medical Center responded to the scene.
