CASPER, Wyo. ― A bull moose has been found poached in an area of the Highland Mountains south of Butte, Montana.
“The moose was shot between Nov. 15 and 22, east of Melrose in Camp Creek, said FWP Game Warden Shane Yaskus,” Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks said on Monday, Nov. 25.
“’Coming from Melrose,’ Yaskus said, ‘the moose was located after Camp Creek Road leaves private land but before Camp Creek Reservoir on the north side of the road.’”
