CASPER, Wyo. — Wondrous Wyoming is usually a photo of our beautiful state, but Wyoming is wild, too.
This video, shared by Gary Crosby, shows a bear that recently climbed onto his Casper Mountain home deck, about 12 feet off the ground. It jumped up on the railing, another 3 feet, and then reached out to get a bird feeder hanging in a nearby tree. It then knocked it down to the ground.
“Then it ran down the deck stairs to recapture its prize, sunflower seeds, by tearing the feeder to shreds,” Crosby said. “In the video you can hear it tearing up the feeder with its powerful jaws.”
