Friday morning, Casper artist Chris Navarro unveiled his latest bronze sculpture “Dare to Dream BIG” at the Boys & Girls Club of Central Wyoming. The 1,100-pound sculpture depicts a cat looking into a mirror and seeing his reflection as a lion.

In addition to the monument, a large chalkboard provides an interactive element for the community. Visitors are encouraged to finish the sentence “I dare to dream big and I will…” by writing their own dreams on the board.

Shauna VanderLinden of the Boys & Girls Club mentions that the “dream big” message is something that the Club instills in the kids on a daily basis. “We’re not limited by our town, by Casper, or by Wyoming. The sky’s the limit and that’s really what we want our kids to walk away with,” she says.
