CASPER, Wyo. – The Natrona County High School theatre department is putting the final touches on their production of the musical comedy “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee,” in preparation for the premier performance this Friday.
The acclaimed comedy, which was written by William Finn and premiered on Broadway in 2005, is “the tale of several socially awkward youngsters finding joy, heartache and a purpose in competing at the regional spelling bee,” according to theatre instructor Zach Schneider.
The production involves audience participation, and a different guest performance by NCHS staff for each night.
