Stage III production of ‘Little Women’ adaptation debuts Friday

Rehearsals at Stage III for "Little Women" (Stage III, Facebook)

CASPER, Wyo. — Stage III Community Theater is debuting “Little Women” Friday, December 3.

According to Stage III, this dramatization by Peter Clapham of the classic Louisa May Alcott novel is the most successful and widely produced stage adaptation of the material.

“The structure of the play faithfully covers that of the novel, interweaving the lives of the March girls — Meg, Jo, Beth, and Amy — and Laurie, the boy next door, as they grow up happily together, yet the action is contained neatly in one set.”

“All the overtones of gaiety and the undertones of sadness are here, bringing the story completely to life in a way which is both accurate and dramatically satisfying.”

The play will run from December 3 to December 19.

Tickets are $13.50 for adults and $11.50 for students and seniors.
