CASPER, Wyo. — Casper College music theory coordinator and trombonist Nathan Baker’s ARTCORE performance has been moved from Saturday, April 2, to Sunday, April 3.

The performance will take place at 4:30 p.m. at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church.

In addition to teaching classes on music theory, music composition, low brass performance, and occasionally film and video game music, Baker is second trombonist with the Wyoming Symphony Orchestra and principal trombonist with the Casper Municipal Band, according to ARTCORE. He is also a member of the Dem Bones trombone quintet, and has played with the Yellowstone Big Band, the Blues Brothers, Sympatico, the Casper Brass and Storm Door Company.

Baker has also served as music director for Casper College’s productions of Children of Eden, Tarzan, and Mamma Mia.

“In his (limited) free time he enjoys spending time with his wife and hamster, playing contemporary board games, and exploring world cultures by learning to cook their cuisines,” ARTCORE said.
