CASPER, Wyo. — Hundreds of Wyoming artists and art lovers filled Mike Sedar Park today, taking part in the annual Art in the Park, hosted by Art on the Go.
“I’m extremely happy with how it’s been going so far today,” Art on the Go president James Short said. “Turnout is way better than years past. … We’ve already passed last year’s numbers.”
Short said 64 vendors signed up to take part in the day’s festivities, and traveled from across Wyoming and beyond.
With menacing clouds overhead and strong winds below, Short said some vendors pulled out due to weather concerns. However, inclement weather conditions remained at bay throughout the morning and afternoon.
The arts fair is open until 4 p.m. Saturday.
