EVANSVILLE, Wyo. — At its regular meeting Monday, July 25, Evansville Town Council approved a liquor license for the bar and grill Chili’s, set to open Aug. 8.

After months of remodeling and preparation, the restaurant’s opening date is drawing near, the council learned Monday. With training starting next week, the tentative launch date is Aug. 8, said co-owner Bruce Shiveley at the meeting.

The building at 510 E. Lathrop Road, formerly an IHOP, has undergone a complete refurbish in the process of becoming the third Chili’s franchise in Wyoming.

“We’re very excited to have you,” Mayor Chad Edwards told Shiveley.

The casual dining chain offers a diverse menu, which includes burgers, fajitas and many other delights.
