UPDATE, 2 p.m.: Hogadon Basin Ski Area announced it will be closed shortly after announcing it would remain open.
The announcement was made via Facebook, where a post stated that closure was necessary because of road conditions.
Night skiing also was canceled.

CASPER, Wyo. — While snowy weather might prove to be an inconvenience for some, it’s anything but for skiers. The Hogadon Basin Ski Area is remaining open today despite the weather and is offering a deal for teen skiers at tonight’s Night Skiing.
The first 20 high school students who register for Night Skiing today get in for free. Registration is open from 3 to 8 p.m.
