CASPER, Wyo. — Book lovers, nostalgia enthusiasts and everyone in between are invited to Old Town Family Fun for the inaugural Treat Yo Shelf Book Fair in early April.
From noon to 6 p.m. Saturday, April 8, local authors and vendors will be ready to meet and mingle at the book fair. The event also features activities intended to transport attendees back to the 1990s and 2000s, a news release states.
The throwback experience includes mini golf, laser tag and arcade games. A Street Collective will be offering literary-styled tattoos. Attendees can also enjoy beer from Skull Tree Brewery.
Admission to the book fair is free, and any donations made will benefit the 307 Skate Park and Youth Center.
“We’re excited to bring this unique event to the Casper community,” the event organizer said. “We wanted to create a space where people could indulge in their love for books, nostalgia, and have fun while supporting a local cause.”
Old Town Family Fun is located at 301 West E St. in Casper.
