CASPER, Wyo. — Downtown Casper is about to get another jolt of caffeine.
Blue Ridge Coffee announced on social media on Monday that it will be expanding into the downtown area at 200 E. 2nd St., on the corner of Second and Wolcott. The location was most recently home to Crave-A-Bowl.
Their original flagship location at 4601 SW Wyoming Blvd. will remain open, they said. Earlier this year, Blue Ridge Coffee launched its mobile service in a restored and rebuilt 1960s-era British double-decker bus.
The space will get a complete remodel, according to a text message to Oil City News by Blue Ridge Coffee co-owner Carl Johannesen. “Menu will be the same, with added seasonal items and specials,” he continued. They’re planning to open sometime next month if all goes to plan, he said.
Blue Ridge Coffee offers a variety of breakfast and lunch items along with its coffee. It joins a competitive coffee and sandwich environment in Casper’s central area, which includes Metro Coffee Company, Bourgeois Pig, Scarlow’s Art and Coffee and Copper Cup Coffee Company near the NCHS athletic field. Moka Coffee on West Collins and Barbarian Coffee Roasters on Center Street both recently closed their businesses.
