City Council will hold a Special Regular Session on Friday, May 19, 2017, for the purpose of interviewing candidates and filling the vacant Ward II seat. This meeting will be held in Council Chambers at City Hall, is open to the public, and will be broadcast on cable channel 192.
Interviews will begin at 3:00 p.m. and conclude at 4:30 p.m. Council will then adjourn into Executive Session at 4:30 p.m. for deliberations. Upon completion of the Executive Session, Council will return to the Special Regular Session in Council Chambers to officially vote on the new Councilman.
To qualify for this position, each applicant must be a registered voter in Natrona County residing in Ward II since at least May 1, 2016. The following individuals applied for the Ward II vacancy and meet the specified qualifications: Ken Bates, Lauri Gobble, Monte Henrie, Jr., Tim Kugler, Dallas Laird, Grace Niemitalo, and Paul Paad.
